Industry Applications

The system is rated for oil collection, algae, paper pulp, steel, dairy and industrial uses. Increasingly, due to regulations and health concerns with using chemical treatments to eliminate surface contaminants it can be deployed in the cleaning of marinas, ponds, lakes and wastewater lagoons.

The RSA Skimmer Extractor is a self contained stainless steel free floating box with a 3" diesel pump on board using 24 linear feet of weir board around its perimeter.

The 3" discharge hose pumps 250 gpm of the highest concentration of oil to water. The 6'x6'x1' unit takes in 6" of draft and can discharge away up to 300' using floating hose connected to any containment vessel or oil-water separator. The set up is a simple three step process: 1) place the unit in the center of the worst portion of the oil spill, 2) connect the discharge hose to a containment vessel and 3) turn on the pump. This instantly produces a sink effect in the water. The system draws equally from all sides.
